Arm approached us with a challenge to transform the way they market themselves across the events sector. their request was to ensure consistent brand, creative and event experience across all of their in-person presence.
We aimed to create a response which presented to arm how they could showcase themselves from small trade shows through to large scale live hosted events - all responses would rely heavily on using their existing brand identity, yet the team believed a strong sub-brand specific for live events would successfully help solve their issue of inconsistency.
The sub-brand identity was called 'Limitless' - visualising the brand's key message 'the future is built on arm'. that using arm technology, the future possibilities are limitless.

the design language of limitless was heavily inspired by arm's grid system. We noticed the hero brand use this widely across their marketing material yet we rarely saw it being utilised in live events.
The aim was to take the grid and push it further - creating identities for their brand pillars and make it the host for what makes attendees know they are looking at an arm event or exhibition. without straying too far from elements people already associated with arm,
it was vital that we created a live event brand book that still felt identifiable to them.

combining spatial responses with a new live events 'brand book' would meet arm's requirements maintaining coherent design and practical output for events of all sizes, technical and networking needs.
Designs were created to be modular. this ensures elements could be reused, packed and sent across the globe which is not only convenient, it serves as a more sustainable and consistent way to approach live events which arm hadn't done before.
My role included working with the 2d lead to assist the creation of the sub-brand, bringing the identity to live through exploration, mockups, animated studies and producing graphics for the spatial responses from our 3d team.
