Brand activation
Our clients at salesforce approached us with the challenge of producing a memorable brand experience which served multiple functions. They wanted an activation which would draw visitors in, visualise real-time data in a beautiful way, and encourage visitor interaction. With this in mind, the magic mural was born.

The magic mural was activated at two Salesforce led events within a year - tdx and dreamforce in new york and san francisco.
The magic mural boasted 12 large whiteboards spanning in total over 15 meters long, each with a marker coded to follow key instructions and draw the artwork i had produced. Working with the company joto, they used my illustrator files made up of salesforce scenes and mascots bringing them to life for visitors to enjoy and track it's progress throughout the day.

Each design took around 30 minutes to complete in conjunction with roundtable discussions taking place in front of them at the event. each roundtable would discuss a key topic which the mural would draw showing facts, statistics and live quotes from its attendees as they were said.
The result was a record attendance for roundtable discussions at a salesforce event. with the success of its debut at tdx, salesforce wished to evolve the mural further for their flagship event in san francisco due to the popular response from visitors.

the mural proved to be a great attractor across the shows, as well as showing how data can be visualised in a simple yet beautiful way using just a humble whiteboard marker.
